Meet the Class!

  Currently we have 25 fabulous students in our class. The boys and girls are split evenly down the middle! Our day is filled with learning and the boys and girls are expected to work hard each and every day!

Homework

Your child will have a nightly homework assignment. It will be recorded in the daily agenda and is the responsibility of the student to remember what to take home. Homework is a daily grade and is reflected on the report card under work and study habits. Agendas must be signed on a daily basis. This is how I plan to communicate with you. I will be letting you know of assignments, grades, and daily behavior reports.

Please encourage your child to bring home a book from the media center every night. Reading is a part of the nightly homework. Your child will also be expected to take Accelerated Reader tests on the books he/she reads. We will be establishing a monthly reading goal which can be found inside your child's homework folder. The reading goal will be counted as a reading grade.
