Guidance Program & Services

The Guidance Department at Powers Ferry Elementary is designed and dedicated to assist students by removing barriers to learning. We provide these services through four different areas:

• Individual Counseling
• Group Counseling
• Group Guidance
• Classroom Guidance

In addition, the Guidance Department coordinates different school-wide programs throughout the year to raise awareness and instruct safety skills to our students.

• Weekly - Life Skills Education
• October - Bullying Prevention Week
• October 30 - November 3 - National Red Ribbon Week (Drug Awareness)
• Janurary - No Name Calling Week
• May - Career Week
