During the second quarter we will be working on the following standards in writing:
* Generating ideas, developing drafts, revising and editing
* Maintaining a focus, using organizational structure, developing a sense of closure, and including details
* Printing legible with correct spacing and forming both uppercase and lowercase letters
* Beginning to use correct capitalization and correct ending punctuation;
* Beginning to apply grade appropriate spelling rules
